In the early 1980’s when The Working Women of Manhasset (WWOM) organization was founded, there was no organization in Manhasset or surrounding towns geared toward socialization and networking for women working outside of the home.

Membership grew to attract many professional women with diverse backgrounds and occupations. Programming is varied with topics of interest focused on professional, community, and cultural events. Meetings provide opportunities for socializing, professional support, and forming new friendships.

Our charitable activities include contributions to a variety of community organizations and the annual WWOM High School Scholarship.
